Little Bear was born from a love of great wine, meaningful community, and the unique character of Northwest Arkansas. When my girlfriend and I moved to Bella Vista, we quickly fell in love with the trails, natural beauty, and the people who make this area special. At the same time, I saw an opportunity to create something that I felt was missing: an approachable wine-focused gathering place that felt welcoming to everyone, whether you’re a longtime local, new to town, or just visiting for the weekend.
The idea behind Little Bear is simple. Wine should be enjoyable, approachable, and shared. We focus on wines from small farms and low-intervention producers who prioritize stewardship of the land and thoughtful winemaking practices. These are wines with stories, made by real people, and selected not because they are trendy or exclusive, but because they are delicious and worth sharing.
Beyond wine, Little Bear is committed to supporting local makers and producers. Throughout the shop, you'll find specialty foods, pantry items, and gifts sourced from businesses across Northwest Arkansas and the surrounding region. We believe that small businesses thrive when they support one another, and we want our shelves to reflect the creativity and craftsmanship that make this community special.
Our first phase is the bottle shop offering retail wine sales, delivery, and curated events. As we grow, our vision is to expand into a full café and wine bar where guests can gather over a glass of wine, enjoy thoughtfully sourced food, and experience the warm, community-oriented atmosphere that inspired Little Bear from the beginning.
